I heard from them that there are more people and more buildings in <BR>China than our country. There are also lots of interesting things, so I <BR>longed for China. As the economic, technical and cultural co-operation <BR>between the two countries increased rapidly, Mongolia has experienced an <BR>upsurge of interest in learning Chinese. <BR><BR>In Ulan Bator alone, there are six schools specialized in teaching <BR>Chinese. Another 40 schools have also offered Chinese courses. But Enho <BR>Qiqige, Gias teacher, said primary and middle school students often <BR>choose to learn Chinese in China where there is a better language <BR>environment. <BR><BR>A total of 517 students from the Republic of Mongolia came to the Inner <BR>Mongolia Autonomous Region to study Chinese, according to statistics from <BR>the autonomous regions Education Bureau. <BR><BR>Fifteen schools in Inner Mongolia now recruit students from the Republic <BR>of Mongolia.     新华网内蒙古频道３月９日电（勿日汗）随着新学期的开始，在内蒙古自治区学习汉语的蒙古小留学生们陆续返校，继续他们的异国求学之路。
    １２岁的吉亚来自蒙古乌兰巴托市，今年通过介绍来到呼和浩特市一所民族小学学习汉语。“我的哥哥姐姐都来中国学过汉语，我很早就听他们说，中国的人和楼房都比我们那儿
多，有很多新奇的东西，所以我一直渴望来中国。”小吉亚兴奋地说。
    吉亚的监护老师恩和其其格告诉记者，蒙古几座大城市都有汉语言学校，但考虑到语言环境和师资条件，家境较好的蒙古中小学生会选择来中国学习汉语。
    近几年，为了学习汉语、了解中国文化前来中国留学的蒙古中小学生日益增多。内蒙古自治区教育厅统计数字显示，２００５年来内蒙古学习汉语的蒙古中小学生有５１７名。
    据了解，内蒙古自治区有１５所中小学招收蒙古学生。这些小留学生在二至三年的学习期间，除主修汉语之外，学校还为他们设立了电脑、英语、数学、体育、美术、音乐等课程。为了方便蒙古学生的学习和生活，各学校专门安排蒙汉兼通、富有责任心的优秀教师任教。小留学生们在中小学完成二至三年的学业后，大部分学生会选择内蒙古、北京、上海等地的高校继续深造。
    据了解，近几年随着中蒙两国在经贸、科技、文化等各个领域合作的进一步扩大，两国人民之间的往来不断增多，蒙古掀起了一股学习汉语的热潮。目前，仅在首都乌兰巴托就有６所专门的汉语学校，另有４０多所大中小学开设了汉语课程。（完）
